In stead of leading a group of 4 pilots in X-wing, you have to give orders to tens of thousands of crew members: be it gunnery teams, pilots, engineering, flight control and thousands of other positions that have to be filled on a ship the size of a kilometer. So Star Wars: Armada is a game in which two combatants take command over cruisers, frigates, star destroyers, and squadrons upon squadrons of fighters. I just need your help since I'm not a Star Wars fanatic, but I might be. He's a very well liked guy, and for good reason, he's pretty amazing and he deserves it. It would be a way to get a lot of pieces from a lot of people. Can anyone narrate a "buy list" for one of these games and let me know why I should go with that one? I keep getting asked what to get for him and I think this might be a good solution. I don't want him to open his gifts next month and sigh, wishing he had the other game.
